Mempool
Recommended Bitcoin fee rates straight from a mempool explorer
Mempool.space runs an open Bitcoin explorer and exposes a keyless REST API over its live mempool. The recommended-fees endpoint returns suggested sat/vB rates for fastest, half-hour, hour, economy, and minimum confirmation targets. Useful for wallets estimating what to pay before broadcasting a transaction.

No — Mempool needs no API key or signup. You can call it straight away; rate limits still apply (Enforced — HTTP 429 on excess, repeated abuse may be banned; numeric limits unpublished).

Is Mempool up right now?
As of our last scheduled check, Mempool is unmonitored. We re-probe it every sweep — the status badge and uptime chart above always show the latest.
